In 2019, Avery Dennison decided to outsource part of the warranty and post-warranty printer repair process, and after almost a year of meetings, calls and negotiations, from all bidders, Fixit was chosen as the provider of these services. The main assumption of the project was very simple – service diversification and support of the process carried out so far entirely internally and cost optimization.
The main attribute of the Fixit offer was the increase in the operational capabilities of Avery Dennison in the era of dynamic company development and independence from possible problems associated with Brexit, as well as:
- access to the claim registration system - FIXIT RMA
- support in the process of handling service orders
- reduction of device repair time
- improved logistics service thanks to Fixit local presence
- the ability to flexibly increase the amount of technical resources
- the option of covering other European countries with services
- the opportunity to expand the range of services from the Fixit portfolio
Benefits for our client:
The services provided by Fixit meet all the requirements specified by Avery Dennison. Fixit for the implementation of the FIX & REPAIR service dedicated a team of experienced technicians responsible for its implementation, who underwent technical training under the supervision of Client specialists. On the basis of this training and skills acquired in the service process, this team is constantly passing on its knowledge to other engineers in order to increase the possibilities of handling the growing stream of requests. Service procedures as well as supply processes of spare parts deliveries are constantly being improved, which is coordinated and a main part of responsibility of the dedicated Project Manager.
Additionally, as part of the Fixit RMA registration system provided, we are ultimately able to provide the language location of the registration process and all available instructions and procedures for the particular country covered by Fixit services.
In addition to repair services, Fixit as part of the FIX & GO product in cooperation with the Client, conducts the logistics process of both repaired devices, as well as spare parts and accessories in order to:
- maximum reduction of repair times,
- reduce the delivery time of the necessary spare parts,
- minimizing transport costs.

independence from potential difficulties associated with the Brexit process
